We are pleased to announce that we have appointed Rohit Singh as in-country managing director of our Indian subsidiary, Feedback Medical India Private Limited.
Rohit has joined Feedback Medical from the UK India Business Council (UKIBC), which facilitates the introduction of UK companies into the Indian market, where he helped build the India advisory practice. He served as director on the India board of UKIBC. Prior to this, Rohit was an associate vice president with Tecnova, where he primarily focused on advising companies of the US and European origin on the development of their Indian entry strategy, expansion planning, business setup and implementation. He is an alumnus of both XLRI, Jamshedpur and Columbia Business School, New York.
The Board continues to view India as a significant opportunity for the Company and has furthered its investment through this appointment. The Board views Rohit’s involvement as a validation of Feedback’s India strategy, and an endorsement of the market opportunity that the region holds for Feedback’s products.
Furthermore, we are pleased to announce that we have received an import licence for Bleepa as a class A medical device in India, enabling the sale of Bleepa as a medical device for clinicians through Feedback Medical India Private Limited. Grant of this licence will enable Rohit to activate our market entry strategy for Bleepa as a standalone product.
We are very pleased to welcome Rohit to Feedback. As an experienced advisor with expertise in new market entry and growth strategies, business planning and implementation, primarily through the UKIBC, he is perfectly placed to assist the company as we pursue the expanding opportunity in India.
“Rohit has already identified several additional potential market opportunities for Bleepa with government organisations, including the Ministry of Defence, and large hospital chains, that we believe can be unlocked now that we have received Bleepa’s import licence for our operating subsidiary. We remain excited by the opportunity that this market represents.”
